At 21, I was given six months to live after being diagnosed with a cancer so rare it affects fewer than one in a million people. Months in hospital gave me time to reflect: if I survived, how would I live? Cautiously or fully, without fear? Thankfully, after enduring the pain and uncertainty of chemotherapy, the universe gave me a second chance. I chose both discipline and adventure—becoming obsessive about health and fitness, while learning to let go of the outcome and find peace in the process. I jumped out of a plane over Australia, travelled to new places, and watched countless sunrises with a renewed sense of presence. My career flourished, but I couldn’t ignore a deeper calling to turn my passion for wellness into something meaningful. During travels through India and Southeast Asia temples, meditation, and reflection it was in Bali that the idea first came to me: to create a drink that delivered clean, sustained energy without the jitters, while helping to calm inflammation and support long-term health. I immersed myself in research on the Mediterranean diet, Blue Zones, and the root causes of chronic disease and one word kept surfacing: Polyphenols. I realised that these powerful plant compounds, dulled by modern farming, held incredible potential. And so, Feel Good Polys was born.
